Peripheral Nerve Block

Peripheral nerve blocks are generally done to control pain emerging from a nerve, otherwise called neuralgia. Nerve damage can be caused by trauma, compression, ischemia, or dangerous exposure to a nerve. The block includes the infusion of a local sedative with a steroid in intimacy to the injured nerve to diminish the conduction of pain indications along the nerve.
